There are four Household Waste and Recycling Centres in the city where you can deposit a wide variety of materials for recycling. See the table below for locations and further information about the collection facilities available at each site.

Recycling Centre opening hours:
Summer (British Summer Time)
Monday to Friday (including Public Holidays) 10am to 7.45pm
Saturday and Sunday 9am to 7.45pm
Winter
Monday to Friday (including Public Holidays) 10am to 4.45pm
Saturday and Sunday 9am to 4.45pm
Please note that the centres are closed on Christmas Day and New Years Day
