I’d been searching for the ideal Motorhome for years. I saw the Zafiro 685 and instantly knew this was the one to add to the hire fleet. Anyone could see this was the perfect vehicle to tour Scotland in style. It definitely ticked all the boxes.
It looks great on the outside and I do like the new streamlined shape that does away with the bulbous looking fronts on the previous models. And on the inside…my daughter thinks it’s like the Starship Enterprise!
It has 5 berths, so it’s ideal for a family. The layout with separate sleeping quarters also makes it, perfectly suited for 2 couples as well.
A lot of family adventures include cycling, so having the 4 bike rack fitted was an added bonus. There’s also the huge locker opening (1170mm x 870mm) to give more than 23 metres of space which will be ample for all the kit you’d struggle to get into a car.
The only problem is where to go first, in Scotland there are so many beautiful places to go. Big Sands at Gairloch would be a firm favorite with the kids with its beautiful sea views and perfect beach. I can easily imagine an island trip to Harris or Jura or better still, what about the NC500?
